Let's make a list of all the tv shows that were abandoned after just one release.

Please add to this list; I know there's a lot more out there! The rules: there should be only ONE release for the title, the title came out at least a year ago, and there seems to be no news (or hope) for further releases. "Best ofs" and compilations don't count; only complete season releases. Don't add abandoned-on-dvd series that got at least two or more releases (that's another thread) or shows that have upcoming releases or strong rumors of such.

The TV-on-DVD ORPHANS List!:

Dragnet, Dragnet, Dragnet, Dragnet!!!!

And in the list of those that don't infuriate me as much as that one does.

The Equalizer
The Rookies

"Too Close For Comfort" does not belong.   It had a hacked-up S1 and then an uncut S2 release.

Forgot to add:

McMillan And Wife
Benson
One Day At A Time

Would CBS/Paramount titles that have only had one season released in two volumes also count in this list?    If so, then add "Love American Style".

Welcome Back Kotter is technically not an orphan title since it had that six episode sampler put out before S1 was released which contains a few episodes from S2 and 3.

I know; I didn't really consider the sampler dvds otherwise I'd have put Chico and the Man and Alice on there. The samplers are nice to have, but I don't consider them to be proper complete season releases or anything. Same goes for "MADtv" which had a "best of" release... That one doesn't count because it reduced 3 seasons of episodes into 3 hours lol

MAVERICK / YOUNG MAVERICK / BRET MAVERICK  (Warner Bros) - released the telefilm that served as a reunion of the original series and pilot for the later two series.  Where are the three series that tie into the telefilm???
