it's basically like Animatrix and Gotham Knight.  japanese animator doing short stories.  i liked Animatrix (hit and miss), but Gotham Knight was terrible.  hopefully the Halo universe will be less restrictive for this animation genre.

just an FYI, people with xbox-live can watch one of the episodes tomorrow (saturday dec 5) in hi-def. they need to download "Waypoint", which is a program that will let you stream all halo-telated stuff, of which one is tomorrow's episode.  from the preview, it looks pretty cool.
