The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the [COLOR= rgb(255,0,0)]RoundUp[/COLOR] that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the [COLOR= rgb(255,0,0)]RoundUp[/COLOR]. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

The website has a bunch of blu-ray titles on sale online only. I'm picking up of PINOCCHIO for $9.99.

I'm working on the links now. For some strange reason they work fine in the test area while Mike assembled this weeks update, but when I copy the table over they no longer work. I need about 30 minutes to sort things out.

Links are all better now. FWIW HTF reviewer Eric Douglas took a leave of absence from reviewing here to produce iMurders which is available on this weeks update.

I'll be picking up The Stepfather (1987) this week and maybe Natural Born Killers or the South Park movie on Blu-ray. And at some point, I'll grab Married... With Children: Season Eleven.

Thanks guys. Nothing for me this week...

I'm hoping to have the review for Natural Born Killers dir. cut on Blu posted later today. (Short version: It's spectacular.) After that it's on to Hardware on Blu.

After some uncertainty, all the online dealers now seem to agree that the Blu-ray of Hardware will be released on 10/13, although some still have the DVD listed for 10/20. That's not uncommon with the small specialty publishers.

It's no $5 bin...but my local Wal-Mart has the following Blu-ray titles on special sale (on an endcap display):

$10.00: Chaos (Statham), Cutthroat Island, Evil Dead II, Halloween, Midnight Movie, The Ninth Gate (Depp), See No Evil (Kane), Terminator 2 (Schwarzennegger).

$14.96: Water Horse, Across the Universe, The Big Hit, Striking Distance, Untraceable, Starship Troopers, Hancock, xXx-State of the Union, Into the Blue, Dogma, 21, The Holiday, Talledega Nights, Superbad, A Knight's Tale.

I'm in this really odd place where I'm finding I'm buying movies just for the sake of buying them. I enjoyed Drag Me to Hell in the theater, but it something I need to own? I don't know. And if I find I do want it, then it will be cheaper at some point in the future.

Lemme tell ya how bad it is, Mike. I picked up the 2 disc set of Munich when it came out in 2006. Still haven't thought about playing it.

Between real work, a stack of 8-10 review discs and the stuff I haven't gotten to watch yet, it's amazing I actually get sleep. And I just got rid of 50+ discs!

(Things like Trek, Friday the 13th and Pixar/Disney are all automatic purchases, by the way. I know I want them and will enjoy them forever and ever.)

Anything over $20 is a dealbreaker for me. I love BluRay but even a huge collector like me has to say this is BS, 4 years in to this format.

When I'm thinking about buying something I look at the shelves and shelves and shelves of DVDs that I bought between approximately 1999 and 2006 and still haven't watched. Most of my purchases these days are concerts (hey now, Rick Wakeman!), which I view fairly regularly.

Couldn't resist that $10 Snow White Blu upgrade, though. First Second movie I ever saw in a theater! (EDIT: Checked the re-release dates -- Bambi came first.)

This is why I no longer buy anything on release day anymore. I have dozens of discs to fill my time until the price falls. I'm still a sucker for cheap discs at Big Lots or Walmart, though.

I also couldn't resist the SW release at $10, even though I still have factory sealed copies on Laserdisc and DVD. I also owned the VHS so I guess this is, what, quadruple dipping on this title? Apparently I keep purchasing it more for the nostalgia/Disney mystique and the collection completist in me than any desire to watch the actual film.
