Wow, another childhood icon of mine has passed.  The music of Peter, Paul, & Mary was probably the first music I ever heard (or remember hearing).  I was four years old at the time.

I saw Peter, Paul, & Mary in concert about twenty-five years ago.  The way they engaged the audience was impressive and heartwarming.  And Peter and Paul played off of each other humor-wise, with Mary acting as the peacemaker.  This banter, along with great music, made for a very entertaining evening.

She will be missed.

I remember listening to my mothers LPs of theirs. They were great and I still have fond memories of their songs. I should really spin them again for old times sake.

RIP Mary
