This show, like Dollhouse, definitely got better as the season progressed. It started off treading water in the X-Files wake, but ended up earning the respect to be mentioned in the same sentence. I look forward to revisisting the entire series on Blu-ray when it finishes running its course on the network.

I missed the first half of the season, so I'll likely pick up this set as I really enjoyed the second half. Though that $59.99 price point for only 20 episodes gives me pause.

It's just amazing what the networks now consider a "smash hit." It wasn't long ago they were canceling shows that drew an audience of only 10 million. Posted Image

This is a great twisty, sci-fi thriller with one of the best new characters to appear on TV in recent memory - John Noble's Walter Bishop. I agree that the show definitely got better as the season progressed. Fringe found its sea legs and developed its own identity. I too am looking forward to revisiting the first season and can't wait to see how the producers go forward after the fantastic season finale.

I didn't give this show a chance until 3 episodes remained. Have to say that I absolutely loved those 3 and look forward to seeing the series from the beginning.
