I just wanted everyone to post and compare their lists of tv shows that they own that haven't been completed on dvd, in which further seasons haven't been announced, and that are getting more and more unlikely to see completion as time goes by. Here's mine:

All in the Family
American Dreams
The Big Valley
Everwood (I know--we're getting season two--but it took FIVE YEARS).
The Flying Nun
Green Acres
Hart to Hart
The Jeffersons
Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman
Party of Five
Weird Science

Unfinished?

Let's see...

Only have S1 of 24, but not sure if I'm going to keep going.
Need to finish Buffy and Angel, waiting for price drops on complete series for those, selling off individual seasons.
Missing some later seasons of Law and Order SVU that I'd like. We'll see on regular Law and Order.
Garfield and Friends needs some work, since I only have specials and best-ofs.
Haven't watched S1 of Happy Days yet, so we'll see if I continue.
Like to finish Punky Brewster. Almost did that over Easter, but got derailed by Time Tunnel and Powerpuff Girls.
Want to finish my Roots collection, get Queen too.
Like to get the Best Of volume of You Bet Your Life, since I already have the lost episodes.
I only have best of He-Man and She-Ra, want to get those season sets before I run out of time.

About all I can think of at the moment, sure I'm forgetting some.
So much TV... So little money! Please visit my blog at: http://tvhistoryondvd.blogspot.com/

I'd like to see the rest of The Sentinel released.

Not including ongoing shows (Smallville, Simpsons, IT Crowd, In Treatment) or series where the final volume has been announced (Pushing Daisies)...

seaQuest (seriously...it's 13 more episodes...)
the rest of the Super Friends franchise
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (32 more episodes)
1990s X-Men (fairly sure the series will be finished this year)

My poor boyfriend has been waiting for more Facts of Life forever. Posted Image

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea -- which I expect FOX to complete within the year.

Huckleberry Hound -- which I expect that Warner will never complete.

Ironside -- which Shout Factory already says they will not continue.

Only 3:

All in the Family
Leave it to Beaver
The Mary Tyler Moore Show

Happily, all my others are complete

EDIT: I'd forgotten about "Beaver" until I read Gary's post (since I'd pretty much written it off a long time ago.)

Although this is a depressing exercise for me, I'll throw out 10 or so (out of probably several dozen) series I'd really like to see finished but have my doubts about:

LEAVE IT TO BEAVER
RAWHIDE
BIG VALLEY
OZZIE & HARRIET (no season sets released, but many "best of" type sets - just want more)
LASSIE (ibid)
MR. ED (ibid)
MISTER PEEPERS
FLIPPER
ROUTE 66
CHIPS (just one more season to get Christmas episode)
DRAGNET (ibid - although I'd take the entire run)
LONE RANGER
HAZEL
CHEYENNE
THE UNTOUCHABLES (although I have hope this will continue)
HAVE GUN, WILL TRAVEL (ibid)
NAKED CITY
THE RIFLEMAN
PHIL SILVERS SHOW
MY THREE SONS (doubt this will make it all the way through)

Gary "ok, that was more than 10 - but I could have gone on and on" O.
"Do not challenge supernatural unless armed with sword of truth"
                                             ...CHARLIE CHAN ON TREASURE ISLAND
