One of my all time favorite movies, Glory, has been announced for release on June 2nd. Posted Image

I haven't received a press release yet, but I've confirmed that the information is correct. It's good news as it's one of my favorites.

I like the BD front cover. First day purchase for me. I am a bit suprised given that on DVD this already has a pip track, that there is no mention of one for the BD?

Me too!

I'm not expecting a pretty picture as this film has always looked pretty bland. However i'm anticipating that the TRUEHD will kick butt!!

That's exactly why I'm so interested in what it will look like. Hoping for a pleasant surprise Posted Image

I have the 24-bit, 96KHz version of the soundtrack album, so I figure the film will have a somewhat clearer audio track than the DVD has.

How I could have missed this is almost as baffling as the fact that it wasn't even nominated for Best Picture.

Very psyched!!! Amazon has it up for pre-order at $20.99, BTW.
