The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, Circuit City is still out of business...even in Hawaii (where they NEVER guaranteed their prices anyway).

As always, thanks for the Roundup, guys.

Does anybody know if "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (2008) BD comes with a DVD or BD copy of the original? I've spent 10 minues on Google and haven't been able to come up with an answer.

GO SPARTANS!!!

OK, I can answer my own question. This is from the official FOX store:

Disc 3: The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) PS Blu-ray
English: 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio, Mono
Spanish & French: 5.1 Dolby Digital

PS? Hmmm....

Nothing for me this week. For those that haven't seen it, Doubt is definitely worth a rental (if only for the performances).

Thanks for the prices!

I haven't seen the movie but I laughed at the critique in the middle of the list.

Pre-Code Hollywood Collection when the budget allows; ditto "A Song Is Born" - feeding my Benny Goodman habit.

Thank you as always, Mike, Patrick and all.

Thanks for the prices, guys. Getting Yes Man, Final Destination and Wedding Singer Blu-rays this week. Eventually, I'll pick up some of the other new catalog Blu-rays, and Bedtime Stories and Day the Earth Stood Still when the prices drop. And the new No Country Blu if I can sell my still-unopened original BD release.

Surprised Bedtime Stories didn't earn a picture at the top of the RoundUp. It's one of this week's bigger releases. Not a Sandler fan, Mike?

Maybe he's seen the movie. ;)

I kid. I've seen it too. It's not Sandler'sKane, but it is not as bad as some might have you believe.

I think I'll just rent a few of the new releases this week and pick up Prince Caspian and Indiana Jones from Target. Assuming I can find the Blu-rays in stock.

Seems not to be much rhyme or reason to the BD pricing. There seems to be a slew of WB/New Line catalog releases this week and it seems like half of them are at a 16.99 price at BB and the other half at a 24.99 price. Also the difference between Amazon and BB is out of whack as well. For example a minor interest title like 2010 sells for a cheap $13.99 and it's $11 more at BB.

Also it sadly seems like the weekly DVD bargains at BB have been weak since Circuit City closed down

I didn't notice the $13.99 price on Pinocchio at Target earlier today. I missed out picking it up during the first week, but I'm glad I waited!

I'll wait for reviews and screencaps of Point of No Return. It's the American rip-off of La Femme Nikita.

Thanks for the RoundUp Mike and Patrick! The Pre-Code Hollywood Collection looks interesting but I doubt it will be available at BB or any other B&M this week (especially now that Borders B&M appears to be getting out of the media business.) I will most likely NetFlix it and if it is worth adding to the library, I will buy it online at some point down the road.
