The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City stores do not exist anymore...even in Hawaii.

So is Dreamworks Animation going to make a habit of offering bonus discs with SD-DVDs but not with BDs? 'Cause I thought they were our friends. Posted Image

No kidding are they trying to get us to purchase the SD over the BD, you would think they would have it the other way around or atleast offer it with both.

I could be very wrong, but looking at the Paramount press site, there's a fullscreen and widescreen single disc, a 2 pack of each AR with a new Penguin movie and the BD, which has the Penguin movie on the same disc as the movie itself.

I also swear Little Miss Sunshine is on BD this week, making it a big week for Fox catalogue titles. If I can find it, that's mine, along with Office Space, Rent and the first Friday the 13th. Seems like a big haul for one week...

Really big week for me. I'll be picking up Clerks II, Friday The 13th and Zack And Miri Make A Porno on Blu-ray, Friday The 13th Part III in 3-D and His Name Was Jason on DVD and maybe even Friday The 13th Part 2. Eventually I'll pick up Mystery Science Theater 3000: XIV.

Heads up for folks buying Zack And Miri Make A Porno, Wal Mart and Target are apparently only carrying copies with the censored cover (it just says "Zack And Miri" on the cover and no "Make A Porno"). As Mike says above, "Get the right one."

Thanks for the prices, guys! Posted Image

I was just checking the Alec Guiness 5 film Collection on Amazon and it appears to be the identical Starz / Anchor Bay 2002 release with a different picture and Lions Gate as the studio. The 2002 release is still available for $17.09 new.

I wish Brainstorm was on Blu. I thought Warner was going to release DVD and Blu together on catalog titles? Anyway, i am skipping the DVD for now. I will see what happens!
I have Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Friday the 13th both on Blu, coming to me this week. Thanks as always guys!

I just put the Broadway version of Rent in my Netflix queue (or, renting Rent). I saw that Target is carrying the Columbo set but I never like the TV movies as much as the original series.

Nothing for me this week although, being the Dinosaur nut that I am, I'll be giving NOVA: Arctic Dinosaurs a Netflix rental.

Another dull week for me, so my wallet smiles a bit (although the Get Smart collection is coming from Amazon this week! $67.99! woo-hoo!)!

Mike, you need to edit this line in your weekly post format:

Jason is correct about the penguin's "Move It, Move It" movie being a second disc in the 2-disc sets with M: E2A. And it is simply included on the BD.

Re: Little Miss Sunshine. All indications (including Amazon) was that the BD was pushed back until Feb. 24. Now Amazon has it listed for $22.99 and BB has it listed for $29.99.

I'm picking up Friday the 13th blu, but what makes this release 'Uncut'? What extra footage is in this version? Will it also include the original release?
