I have a new laptop that comes with Vista-64 and need to make a restore/recovery disc, I have a DVD burners but no DVD-rs (this is my first DVD burner) but I do have CD-Rs. Do I need a DVD-r or CD-r to use as a recovery disc? If I can use a CD-R, is there a benefit to using a DVD-r? I figure I could always back up data to a separate CD or DVD....
