So this morning I wanted switch between 3 co-ax digital audio signals and my Denon 1802 has only one co-ax input. Since I'm too cheap to invest in another Philips switchbox (one HD sat box feeds 2 HDTV's), I'd decided to take matters into my own hands. The receiver has four 75ohm video inputs (VCR-1, VCR-2, DVD_VDP/TV_DBS) and three 75ohm video outputs (VCR-1, VCR-2, Monitor Out). I connected the digital out's of my PC's Soundblaster Audigy 2 soundcard to the VCR-1 input, my Pioneer DV-578-A to TV/DBS, and the Samsung DVD-R150 to DVD/VDP. The Monitor Out was connected to COAX in and "Voila", remote switching between 3 digital sources. It works great.
