I think it'd be useful to know when titles have gone out of print or are about to. I'm still annoyed that I didn't order Highlander the series while it was in print.

There's an ongoing thread at the DVDTalk forum by a helpful fellow by the name of mccarver (or is it mcarver?) that details newly OOP titles on a near weekly basis. It's titled something obvious like "Recently Out-of-Print Titles". I consult it often, but since I'm no longer allowed to post at DVDTalk, I'm never able to thank the guy for his hard work... Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I agree with the second part...

With a bit of luck you should still be able to pick up the individual seasons here and there (eBay is a good place to start).

Mind you, they've just announced that Season 1 is scheduled to be issued on Blu-Ray on February 15 next year.

Highlander Season 1 on Blu-ray DVD

(ignore the 2008 part, it should say 2009)
