Thanks as always Mike & Patrick. Great price on Hellboy II: The Golden Army SE (3-disc) at Amazon.com. It surprising that it's only $2 more than the 1-disc version, and $5 cheaper than the 3-discer at the B&M's. That made it a no-brainer for me. I just placed my order before they increase the price. I also ordered Quo Vadis from Amazon as a blind buy.

Wow, BoB BRD is about what I paid for the SD DVD set a year ago.

What the heck is "Sukiyaki Western Django"? Posted Image

Does the "I Dream of Jeannie" super mega set include a life-sized inflatable doll? Posted Image

It looks like struggling Circuit City gave up trying to compete on price.

Do you think Best Buy will do 3/$60 on the 2/$40 WDT deal?

Great job on the Round-up this week, guys! There's a lot of stuff there! I'm tempted by the Blu-rays of Firefly (wish Serenity was included, but hey, they were different studios!) and Band of Bros. But, I'll at least pick up the Blu of A Clockwork Orange at Target and probably seasons 3 and 4 of South Park from there as well. Great Prices!

Wow, just wow. Those Circuit City prices on Blu-Ray Band of Brothers and JFK. Is it any wonder they are in deep trouble? If I refused to sell an item at a reasonable price, then I wouldn't carry it. Selling something $25 more then a near by store is a slap in the face.

Not sure if I should post this here or in last week's... Can anyone confirm if the Blu of Kung Fu Panda has the bonus movie included? If it doesn't it's a definite No Sale for me and a really poor marketing decision on the part of Dreamworks.

And I'll add that Costco typically has a good deal on the WDT releases. If past events are any indication they should retail for ~$18-$19 each.

They didn't for me last year when they ran the same offer. Personally, I think this policy is totally annoying. I ended up getting the third Treasure at Sam's Club for $21, so it worked out okay in the end. I think it is pretty confusing to have a pricing structure that if you buy "A" and "B" they are $20 each, or if you buy "B" or "C" they are $20 each, but if you buy "A", "B" and "C" they are $20, $20 and $25 respectively...

In any event, I'll be getting all three and FKB season two. Posted Image

It does not include the sequel, "Secrets of the Furious Five". That is only available in the 2-disc SD-DVD version or the separate SD-DVD release.

Big week for me. I'm getting Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Supernatural: Season Three on Blu-ray, the three Disney tins and M Squad as a Christmas gift for my father. Also, I'll eventually get Black Christmas and JFK on Blu-ray and Night Gallery: Season Two.

Thanks for the prices, guys! Posted Image

Thanks for the prices, Mike and Patrick. Expensive week this week, but thankfully they're mainly Blu-rays so I've sold my SD versions to help defray some of the cost. WD Treasures: Chronological Donald-Vol. 4, Band of Brothers Blu, Chuck S1 Blu, Firefly Blu, JFK Blu. I may wait on the last two, though.

I don't know if this is nationwide, but I checked at my local Best Buy (and its circular) and the Kung Fu Panda Blu Ray is $22.99, which is cheaper than what Amazon is selling it for, as well as what it was listed for in last week's RoundUp for Best Buy. I picked my copy up today at that price in West Los Angeles.

For those who paid $27.99 @ Best Buy for it, perhaps you can go back and pricematch to retrieve your $5 + tax.

Blu-Ray purchases:

Definites: Supernatural: Season 3, Hellboy II (2 Disc), Star Wars: Clone Wars, The Police: Certifiable

Eventuals: Firefly, JFK

......I'm really up in the air about Band Of Brothers as I have the excellent DVD set already. I'll have to check the reviews on this one first.....of course if I find it cheap at the store I usually visit, that will make my decision right there.

Thanks guys!

One more thing....

Check this DVD Talk Review: Sukiyaki Western Django (Blu-ray) for the answer......looks pretty cool.

In addition to the price drop on the KFP BD, you can also get the Free Figurine (see Free Figurine link above). You might need to return and then rebuy KFP on BD to get the Free Figurine.

Thanks to you (and Carlo, too) for the updates on the prices, this week, on the KFP titles. Anytime there is a non-Tuesday new release, things seem to get screwy. You guys have come up with some great info for people!
