I personally prefer Trekkie. Old school baby! ;)

Just don't say it out loud in the middle of a crowded Trek convention. It's not fun to be pelted with dead Tribbles. ;)

Don't know about that. I think Trekkie has made a comeback and doesn't have the "nerd" connotation it once did.

I've been a fan of Star Trek since I was eight years old... honestly, I could care less if it's "Trekkie" or "Trekker".  Mostly I just say I'm a "Star Trek fan"

Oh Kevin, always the pessimist. :)

I'd prefer to think of Kevin as a realist.

Jason, that's certainly true. And to the earlier poster that Kevin was being optimistic, sure that is another way to look at it. I'm the dreamer.

And a Trekkie. But you can call me the Star Trek fan too. :)

I always thought the objection to "trekkie" was that it sounded too much like "groupie," which is too submissive for most fans.

Son of a...I spend an hour driving from one Target to another trying to find that blasted thing! I don't have the first on Blu though, so maybe if I sell my STID Target and the UV code for STID with this, I can more or less recoup.

It would be great to have a book like this about Wrath of Khan as well..

I assume the reissue of Wrath of Khan blu ray on Amazon was just a new SKU number then? $6.99???
