The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Who knew "Sex and the City" and "High School Musical 3" were targeting the same demographic? Perhaps raunchy sex talk and family films are finally coming together! (no pun intended--okay, maybe it was)

Got Godfather BD coming from Amazon and a lot more "interested" titles like Shrek the Third, LA Confidential, Blow and Leatherheads. I'll have to see how much of a buying mood I'm in on Tuesday after I pick up Lego Batman for the PS3. Posted Image

Big week for me. I'm picking up The Godfather trilogy and L.A. Confidential on Blu-ray and Friday The 13th: The Series: Season One and Sex And The City: The Movie (it's a gift) on DVD.

If someone had told me ten years ago that Friday The 13th: The Series would come out in season sets, I would have laughed in their face.

Thanks for the prices, guys! Posted Image

Boston Legal: S4 for me this week. They moved the show around so much last season that I bet a good 25 to 30% of the episodes will be new to me! Posted Image

I've heard that the F.Y.E. stores will have a steelbook version of The Godfather Trilogy available @ $49.99. I can't confirm anything about exclusive packaging on their website, but I called my local store and asked about it. This location expected to only get 5 copies in stock on Tuesday and have 2 - 3 prebooked already.

I can pick it up for about $39 shipped @ Borders with a 40% off coupon on boxsets, but can't decide if the FYE steelbook is worth the extra $$.

I finally get the opportunity to chime in. First off... "Thanks" to you guys for your weekly hard work. Second... season 1 of my favorite television series (Friday the 13th: The Series) is my purchase of the week. I've been eagerly waiting for this for years. I'm not sure why it took this long but I'm very thankful that it is finally here. Posted Image Now I just need to move into the Blu-Ray world.

Hey, Ed! Thanks for "chiming in!" Posted Image Don't be a stranger!

That release of the Friday the 13th series seems to have caught more than a few people by surprise! A pleasant surprise for fans...for sure!

=================

I just realized that Tuesday's release of Boston Legal: Season 4 comes a day after the premiere of Season 5 on ABC. It's too bad they couldn't have coordinated that a little bit better so any missed shows could have been "caught up on" before the new series got underway.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!
