Some people believe our lives are profoundly influenced by whatever pop song was #1 on the day we were born.

On the day Barack Obama was born it was Tossin’ And Turnin’ by Bobby Lewis

George W. Bush had The Gypsy by The Ink Spots

Bill Clinton - To Each His Own - Eddy Howard

Hillary Clinton - Near You - Francis Craig

On the day Heather Mills (ex Mrs McCartney) was born The Beatles were at #1 with Hello Goodbye!

See which songs you get

This day in Music

"If you want to be happy for the rest of your life,
never make a pretty woman your wife.
Go for my personal point of view,
Get an ugly girl to marry you!
(Repeat)
A pretty woman makes her husband look small,
and very often causes his downfall;
as soon as he marries her she begins to start
to do the things that will break his heart.
But if you make an ugly woman your wife,
you'll be happy for the rest of your life.
An ugly women will put peals on that,
she'll aways give you a piece of that!"

The Supremes' "The Happening" was #1 in the US when I was born. And it's accurate: I'm truly a happening guy! Posted Image

I pulled "Till I waltz again with you" by Theresa Brewer, whoever she was. I've certainly never heard of that one.

More importantly...I pulled a birthdate newspaper once. In screaming headlines the front-page led with "STALIN IS DEAD". Posted Image
