Hi, does anyone know if there is a small computer screen (maybe 8 or 9 inches) available that would take a composite video or super video connection to use as an OSD. Something kind of like the Rotel 1098 screen but maybe a little bigger.

There are a lot of inexpensive portable DVD players that might work for your application - then you'd get a bonus portable player, too!

Why not just run a yellow RCA video cable, or s-video cable to the tv, for the OSD?

You might also consider using something from the automotive market, though you may also have to buy a wallwart from radio shack or the like.

something like this, perhaps?

on screen displays can ruin the mood, if you're using a projector.

That's the one I found. Would rather it be black though. I will give Radio Shack a try. Thanks.

er. no. I meant that since the displays are designed for automobiles, you might have to buy a inexpensive AC/DC Transformer.
