My favorite Winona Ryder film(and one of my tops for the 80's) is coming to Blu-Ray this August. Writer Daniel Waters announced late last week.

My wife and I absolutely love this film, and I will definitely buy this on BD. However, the original anamorphic transfer of this film is a DNR mess on the order of Evil Dead II. Unfortunately, I think the 20th High School Reunion disc just reuses that same transfer, and, if so, I suspect the BD release will as well. :frowning:

Yeah, I know. I don't have any say in how much better the BD can be, so I'm powerless. I do have to support my favorite films on Blu-Ray. Heck, it's from Anchor Bay, so it will probably get released 2 or 3 more times before we get a perfect transfer.
