Can I Keep my Polk Center if I Want to Change the Mains?

I will be looking to upgrade my left and right main front channels soon, from the bookshelf "R" series Polks to floor standing towers -- not sure what I want to do with the surrounds yet and I will probably upgrade to an SVS sub or two, as well. If I keep my Polk CSi30 center, do I need to keep within a certain "family" of Polks for the new main towers for vocal coherency? I probably won't wander outside of the Polk family since I already have the center channel and there's nothing wrong with it, so does it matter which "series" Polk tower I select from in order to maintain front stage tonal balance?
