Many of us remember him from A Man for All Seasons. He was also excellent in The Train with Burt Lancaster.

The youngest generation won't know him that well, I'm afraid. Especially because he was mainly a stage man. I myself remember his absolutely great King Lear, in a film after he played the character on stage so many times. I wish I could have seen him performing on stage as well at least once. Too many great ones of the stage and the screen are leaving us these days. Cees

He was absolutely wonderful in Quiz Show as Ralph Fiennes's father.
