Our old friend Mike is shutting down HTT "during the week of March 10th".
Maybe that means we'll get to see a little more of him here.
That would be nice.

To clarify, there was a year old thread on this subject, but that was when the forum of HTT shut down.
This time it's the entire site.

They're talking about Mike Knapp's site hometheatertalk.com

I wonder why shut it down rather than sell or hand it over to someone else?

Home Theater Talk has been down for some time. Home Theater Lounge was set up as sort of a replacement; at least, many of the old members moved over there.

I doubt Mike Knapp will post here much, certainly not like he did in the "old days".

Refer to post #3.

Depending on your definition of "down"...HTT only went away a day or two ago.

I understand that reading comprehension rates are way down. Many responses here only serve to drive the point home.

I think everyone here understands what your saying, Henry.

it's still redundant, Mike's site was essentually done when he closed down the forum last year.

why didnt you just make comment in the other topic anyway.

also do you really need to be insulting, you know as well as anyone that isn't the way things go around here.
