"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Fred Meyer has 101 Dalmations paired with a kid's metal 101 Dalmations lunchbox for $19.99. Not quite the classic pairing they did with a box of donuts with the Simpsons Movie.

Maybe when they release the Blu-ray version of Lawrence they will throw in a bag of sand..... (Or maybe a toy train with a big-ol' firecracker.)

Gotta get 101 cuz the niece/nephew will want to watch it when they visit...but I will be keeping the zipper-clip things for myself! Possibly renting Into the Wild at some point....

Circuit City is definitely selling Mrs. Doubtfire for $9.99.

I apologize in advance if this is not the correct forum for this...

I noticed that in the last two weeks, both BB and CC did not list Blu-Ray titles on sale (not just current releases but older releases). It's probably timed to the Blu-Ray victory, but I'm wondering what the specific motivation behind this business practice is. Of course, every driving force behind business is MONEY.

I'm just speculating here ... since people know Blu-Ray is the winner, they would rush out to buy software. But since very few, if any, are not on sale, the stores would make a bigger profit. However, they might go to Amazon where every title is at least 30% off.

Mrs. Doubtfire (anamorphic widescreen!) for $9.99 is a deal but by the time I get there after work, it would probably be gone, as is the case with many titles at Circuit City. At least with Best Buy, you can order on-line and use In-Store Pickup, but it's not $9.99.

So I ordered it with 101 Dalmatians at Amazon with free shipping.
