Received mine today (June 5) after mailing in on March 2. Only two were the original requests:
  • Troy
  • U2: Rattle and Hum
  • Next (probably in place of Aeon Flux)
  • Smokin' Aces (probably in place of Pitch Black)
  • Lethal Weapon (probably in place of Swordfish)
My choices weren't based on preference so much as what I didn't already have. Lucky for me, none of the substitutions are in my collection, though I wouldn't exactly rate Smokin' Aces as a movie I'm likely to watch again.

Thanks, I mailed my form in the first week of March after I bought my A35 Feb 24th for $150, the day Best Buy cut the price in half.

I got a letter denying my request from my refurbished HD-XA2. No surprise, the UPC was wrong according to the letter. I guess the pink UPC indicating B Stock Refurbished was the giveaway.

Couldn't hurt to try calling. Was the offer specifically not valid for refurb players?

Just received today my final batch after sending my form on 3/04/08

Apparently all the titles listed in the offer are gone, since not a single one of the titles I received are listed on the form. highly considered of Toshiba to go through such trouble to fullfill the offer. Thanks!!

They sent me , "perfect storm" -"hustle and Flow" "Miami Vice (Combo)" "Children of men (Combo)" and "Failure to launch"

Not bad for a $75 investment.Posted Image

My family got theirs last week finally, of the 10 titles I think 3 were what were ordered. Dont suspect any of them will ever actually get watched.

I'm surprised this thread is still going!

I also sent in for the 5 free discs and I did it at the very last minute on the coupon!

I got my discs yesterday and I didn't get anything I asked for. I recieved Transformers, Sleepy Hollow, Smokin' Aces, The Perfect Storm and The Departed. That last one is one I wanted to see since I missed it in the cinema.

If anyone wants to trade, I could take that off-line.

Heh, I ordered:

Aeon Flux
Pitch Black
Swordfish
U2
Darkman

what did I get?

The Bourne Identity (got it with the player - don't really another one, UPC gouged)
Children of Men (got it already, UPC gouged)
Hustle and Flow (actually don't have this one)
Blood Diamond (don't have it, but wasn't too keen on it)
Norbit (WTF? M-F'in Norbit, they must be really scraping the bottom of the HD DVD giveaway barrel. Crap!!!)

#1 guy filling orders: Can't believe people are still sending these &$@*%& forms! I know what. Let's send him Norbit. Wonder what he'll say when he sees THAT?!?!

#2 guy filling orders: Oh. That's rich. Norbit! I'd flip out if anyone sent me THAT! I'd love to be there when he gets it!

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

I think I'm still in shock over receiving that M-F'in Norbit HD DVD title.

1. I had no idea a Norbit HD DVD was even released.

2. Why did I have to get that for my possibly last HD DVD title...evah!

I'm sure mentally I said to myself when I saw what was inside the package:

"Oh no they didn't!!!"

You should order another one just to prevent that situation.

It wouldn't even make for a good story at the next HTF meet (it's no Monkeybone)! Posted Image

I guess I should pick up Superman II - The Donner Cut on HD DVD...just to get that nasty Norbit taste out of my mouth.

I certainly could have dredged up a much worse picture! Posted Image
