Does anyone know why I am receiving so many "Microsoft has encountered an error and must close" errors when on the internet? I thought it was just my old computer but I have also gotten the errors at work. It seems this is a new thing, I cannot recall ever getting these messages before.
I know enough to know I don't know enough!

You may have installed something into Internet Explorer or your computer that is causing problems. If you visit the same sites at home and work, you could have gotten the same thing. These things may even have been installed without your knowledge. You can try to "clean house". You might also try running Firefox or some other browser for a while and see if you can surf error-free.
