"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Just the 5 disc Blade Runner on Blu-ray for me this week. I am always game on the BOGO discs, if i could ever find 2 of anything i want, or need!

The new release prices (with the exception of Blade Runner: SE and The Simpsons Movie) seem high this week (i.e. Cinderella II, National Treasure CE, and Rush Hour 3 all at $20!). What's up with that? Where's Circuit City's $13.99 or $14.99 price on these? In addition, I'm really surprised that there is not a tie-in between the National Treasure CE release and NT: Book of Secrets hitting the theaters this week. They should have included a movie ticket / movie cash, but without it and at $20, I'll pass.

The only definites for me this week is The Bourne Ultimatum and Transformers on HD DVD at Best Buy with the BOGO (B1G1) High Def promo. I picked-up both this past week, so I'll stop back in and get the price match or do a return and re-buy.

I'll probably rent Underdog this week and Rush Hour next week.

Both The Kingdom and Eastern Promises have moved their release date up to the 23rd. I would be willing to bet that price reductions will not be effective until the 25th as this was a sudden move and I am sure the advertising flyers have been printed for weeks.

As of now, you cannot mix and match HD-DVDs with BDs in the B1G1 on Best Buy's website. I didn't look at the ad to see if it said anything about buying in-store.

(Unfortunately, there are exactly 1 HD-DVD and 1 BD in the sale that I want. . .)

If you want both "Knocked Up" and "Evan Almighty" on HD DVD, Best Buy's online site shows them priced at $19.99 each, so you can do the BOGO and in-store pickup and average $10 each for those 2 HD DVD titles.

All three flavors of the Blade Runner 5-disc edition for me, due to the uncertain future of the format war, and the uncertainty of how long the 5 disc edition will be in print.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what is BOGO?

Just Blade Runner UCE (5-disc briefcase) for me, too.

My wife dragged me to Stardust when it played theatrically and I have to admit I enjoyed it, but I don't know if it is something I want to add to my library at this point. I may NetFlix it. Ditto The Simpsons Movie. I enjoyed it in the theater, but it doesn't break any new ground in terms of the Simpsons myth. Also, it looks like a fairly bare-bones affair when compared to your typical Simpsons release. Perhaps there will be a special edition down the road??

Boy I'm mad. All those versions of Blade Runner (7 at last count) and they couldn't see fit to make one pan-and-scan version for me.

Just picked up this two HD-DVD tittles this morning and thanks to your initial tip on last week's roundup you saved me a few bucks on "Bourne ultimatum". Thanks

I finally broke down and decided to combine this title with "Transformer" since this HD-DVD keeps getting good marks, I'm not a big fan of this type of mindless mayhem flicks, but I’ve been itching lately for a good fresh jolt to my Surround system..

I'm still thinking of going back for "Shooter" even though this HD-DVD is way overpriced at 34.99 (and is not even a combo) but can't find anything else in that list I want other than the "Departed" which I already own on Sd-DVD.

I'm also picking up "Bladerunner" 5 disc version HD-DVD , I was holding back 'till now but I guess the best deal still is coming from Amazon.

By the way, my Local BB had the "Bladerunner" Blu version available since last Tuesday, pretty sure it was a slip up on their part, or maybe not ?, as BB seems to be heavily involved in pushing Blu.
