As a newbie here, I would like to ask which is better for the following: HDTV HDDVD CD Player I also wonder about 2 ch vs 5 or 7 ch analog found on some dvd players. I ask because my Panasonic Plasma has 2 HDMI inputs but one has to have 2 rcas for sound. I don't notice any difference on FIOS cable between the HDMI or the analog sound, but will I with an HD Player? I am asking this to determine which route to go with HD player, preamp, receiver, etc. I know sound is all relevant to the listener and depends on many factors. Any thoughts?
