The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Absolutely, positively nothing for me this week. Can't remember the last time. It's great because I could sure use a breather.

I am SO all over the new set of Perry Mason!!!! I know Target is carrying it (I saw it on an in-store poster), but will check out the price on Tuesday.

Wal-Mart has a couple of exclusives too this week: Their Toy Catalog states that Shrek The Third includes an exclusive Ty Beanie Baby doll and their ad in Entertainment Weekly shows Oceans Thirteen with an exclusive O13 hand-held electronic poker game (I was mortified that the as showed the full-screen version!).

I see where Circuit City has "Annie - Anniversary Edition" on sale for $6.99.

Everybody needs to be aware of the fact that the transfer is horribly P&Sed.

It's not worth $1 --- much less $7!

Just Close Encounters of the Third Kind on Blu-ray for me. I have a $10 BB Reward Zone coupon burning a hole in my pocket for that baby.

Gee, and I was just gonna say "wow" for the exact opposite reason....

Lots of great sale prices on things I've had backburnered for awhile. Stuff I couldn't justify buying at $40 each, but at $15? Yep, I'm there. Between these items and the Deep Discount sale, this is going to be an expensive week for me -- which is okay, because it's been a good few weeks since I bought much of anything.

And that's a phenomenal price on "Firefly." I may need to pick up another copy or two.

FYI, my Best Buy ad clearly said ALL seasons of Smallville were $14.99. So I guess that covers season 6, as well! Lots to pick up this week, for the same reason as Mary, stuff I had back-burnered is now cheap enough. (Just what I need, this and the DDD/DVDP sales to hit at the same time!)

That may be a YMMV, going by BB's Web site. S6 is the only one not listed as $14.99 there (it's $48.99).

This could be an expensive week (not even taking the DD/DVD Planet sales into consideration).

I've ordered the Ocean's Trilogy HD DVD set, and I'll like to pick up the Northern Exposure and Miami Vice series sets, but both of those may be a bit much in one week. And those $15 Nikita sets are tempting. Something's gotta give.
