Even though it's not the original poster, I gotta say I love the cover art. Simple and understated.
"My opinion is that (a) anyone who actually works in a video store and does not understand letterboxing has given up on life, and (b) any customer who prefers to have the sides of a movie hacked off should not be licensed to operate a video player."-- Roger Ebert

Excellent! Another non-anamorphic title gets the 16x9 upgrade and the special features sound great. This release has been long overdue. I don't really care for the new cover art though. It's much better than the horrible cover on MGM's current disc, but I wanted this cover.

Can't wait to pick this one up finally (I waited, knowing that the studio would re-release it sometime). As for the cover, I must say that it could have been a heck of a lot worse.

So this is not just a direct port of the R2 special edition? How does this one differ from that as far as extra features?

Funny, I almost bought the existing release 3 days ago at a local video store. I had it in my hands, but I put it back in favor of another title. Good thing I did. With this, and the special edition of "Cujo", my Halloween movie night is gonna rock this year! lol

I purchased it and the video quality is extremely good up-converted on my PS3. I've never seen the old disc so I can't compare but I've never seen the movie look quite so clear.

There are several new featurettes not directly related to the film itself but which explore the phenomenon of celebrity stalking. In my opinion, if you already own a special edition from another region, it's not worth the upgrade. Unless, of course, they fixed the accidentally omitted "You crazy bitch" line on the 5.1 track.

I got this and they did an excellent job. The video is superb and the extras included all the principal actors/crew. Much recommended Posted Image
