Screenshots add so many different variables but the same variables for both pics too. :) Much better Marek. The space shot---look at the stars. Way more visible. Looks much sharper without looking edgy. So far, so really good.

I think the first release sold over 30,000 copies...I'm sure this one will sell quite a few being superior. Good job Sony.

Will it play on my XA-1? ;) :D...

Can't watch it just yet. But I am glad that this appears to have gotten it's due. I just recently sold my superbit copy too with this on the horizon. Who knows what lies ahead in the house of Timobi Wan. :)

Or else I'm not going to buy a BD-player. That will learn 'em!
Well, dual-format player actually.

Better late than never. People slapped Sony upside the head (and deservedly so) good and hard for the first release, and they got the message.

Sony has turned the page on their past undoings when BR first came out. They are also releasing a new Superman Returns with Dolby True HD and PCM!

But how will you know if it's any good unless you have a player to view it? :)

Yes, that's a weaker aspect of my strong positioning.

Doesn't Sony still do all the encodes for all these Bd titles, as well as the majority of the replicating?
Seems to me that to a large practical extent, Sony does = Bd

I looked at the pretty pictures, but no one told me I had to read. :)

Now that I've followed the link you provided, thanks by the way, this poll is the same one that has been around since BD's launch, and, yeah, it is lengthy.

Why would they put both English 5.1 (uncompressed) and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 on the same disc?

Are they both the same "lossless" English tracks?
