The Disclaimer Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

There, fixed that for ya, Mike. That's essentially the truth. You know it's a slow week (or a weak week, if you prefer) when one of the most interesting titles (and one of the few I've actually heard of) is Dora the Explorer. White Boyz in the Hood? Really?

No new releases this week, but a couple of those cheap FOX TV sets at BB and CC may entice me.

Not sure how the HD DVD looks and sounds, but I was very happy with the Blu-Ray copy I got last week. I'm sure either way, you'll be happy though. Paramount really has been doing a great job with their releases of late.

Nothing for me this week. Probably a good thing, too, since I still have 10 Cult Camp Classics to watch...

If you think there's not much interesting this week, you may want to check out Eureka. It's a really good show; lots of comedy mixed in with drama, conspiracy theories and special effects. I highly recommend it. Picked up Psych last week, will be getting Eureka this week and Dresden Files next month. Three great shows worth anyone's time.

For the fans of the show Slings and Arrows,Season 3 comes out this Tuesday. DeepDiscount has it available for $19.65.

No new stuff for me, but with the low prices on catalog titles, the BestBuy Reward Zone special and the 10% off coupon I posted in another message, there's a lot I'm going to going after this week.

Is it just me or did Best Buy make an oops....I noticed that they had the July 3rd (BluRay) titles already out on the shelves....yesterday. I thought for sure when I saw The Patriot that it wasn't supposed to be out until tomorrow.

Fry's has a pretty good deal going on in which I picked up a few BDs - 2 for $25 (select titles) but they rang up as $12.50 even without buying 2 for me on Friday, and there are some other select titles for $13.99 ea.
