Two great cases I have found, each with different problems.

Love this case! It is the pouch type, looks professional, and has an
extra long removable clip that will not slip off the belt.

The problem is that once you take the phone out, it is unprotected
so if you drop it there is nothing between the floor and your phone protecting it.

This is the acrylic cover I told you about. Not as professional looking, but
it does protect the phone while you have it in your hand.

Which would you choose? If you see any other cases you like please
share it with us.

OK, I am the only one who voted, are you and I the only people getting the iPhone? :)

I use a pouch like case on my current phone--not even the acrylic case will protect the phone from the jolt of a drop. Also, from all reports, the case and screen are durable--someone tried to scratch the screen with a key and could not.

Plus the pouch is $5 cheaper...

I voted for the pouch ... But to be honest, I'd probably just stick the iPhone in my pocket. Some of the reviewers have stated that they had it in their pocket along with their keys and change for over a week with no discernible damage to the display/touch screen.

As far as dropping it ... well I wouldn't trust either case to protect the iPhone in that event. I would definitely purchase a protection plan if offered.

I've exclusively used Contour's cases for my iPods for almost three years, so it's a no-brainer as to which I voted for.

I voted for the Marware Pouch, largely because I couldn't figure out what the other one was from its own website. But the pouch looks nicely functional, if you're a phone-on-the-belt sort of guy.

Well I'm glad they finally fixed their screens, the first gen video ipod could get scratched by just breathing on it.

I voted for the Marware Pouch. I like the look. But I do have a Contour case for my iPod, and have had no complaints.

I'm waiting for something like the Mobo I have for a Razor. It has a place for some cash and a few credit cards.
The attitude was to replace my wallet, so I only carry one item with my keys. I removed the clip so it feels more like a wallet in my hand.

Mine looks thinner than this, but you get the idea -

Search for - Wallet Leather Pouch Case Skin For Apple IPHONE ipod F6 - on the bay

I've had great success with Marware prodcts for iPod. I'd recommend it.

I also always use cellphone cases that sit on your belt and hang horizontally, you flip up the top panel (long side of the case) and out comes the phone.

this particular Marware seems to only open out at the narrow end of the case. That would be my only concern. I think you're more likely to have a mistake in pulling out the phone if it opens at the narrow end of the phone, and having the phone fall.

Because it's currently US-only and not all of us are Americans?

I want one...

(An iPhone, that is: I just carry my cellphone in a pocket, like Joseph and Todd, so don't really have an opinion about these two cases. Sorry if that makes this post a troll...)

They might have a cheap price tag, but they look very good when fitted IMO
