Currently own:
Blu-Ray = 47
HD-DVD = 26

Pre-ordered:
Blu-Ray = 6
HD-DVD = 3

Wish it were more but neither side has exactly been "lighting my fire" with releases lately. There's still a few more existing titles I'm thinking of picking up but otherwise it's been slim pickins.

Oh and I'm not counting the 5 freebee's I should be getting from Toshiba by the end of 2009. :rolleyes

16 Blu
27 Red

I haven't acquired a lot because there hasn't been enough desirable titles, worth the prices being asked, on either format.

39 HD DVD
4 Blu-ray

pre-orders
5 HD DVD
1 Blu ray

I expect by the time the year is over I'll add about another 20 discs betwen the two formats. If it's much less than that, I'll be dissapointed.

4 Blu-ray, hey its only been 2 weeks. I can say many of the releases dont light my fire either. I can also say many of my standard DVDs will never get an upgrade unless the Blu-ray version sells for $5 like some of my DVDs, when i got them.

All right. Now that Rick has thrown down with a lower number than mine, I feel like I can jump in. :)

Agreed with Rick that not many of my SD-DVDs will get an upgrade. Goodfellas got one because I only had the flipper disc from waaaayyyy back. Happy Gilmore got one because I only had the 4:3 version. Casablanca got one because I had the earlier SD release. Adventures of Robin Hood got one because of the vast improvement on Casablanca HD over SD. King Kong got one 'cause it's just that damn good in HD! All right, so apparently nearly 50% of my titles are SD-DVD upgrades. There goes that theory! Yep! It's 1997 again!

10 HD-DVDs
2 on order
5 free coming from Toshiba - apparently sometime between now and when the next format comes out.

Cheers,

Jason

Only 23 HD-DVDs. I am being much more selective in my buying than I was with DVD especially w/ HD-DVDs much higher pricing.

25 (including two in the DD snail mail), I'm only buying SPECTACULAR releases!!! ;-)
Isn't it funny two 33's posted back to back, what are the chances!!
HD Discs would not even be successful at all right now, w/o you triple digit title guys. Way to go!
