Did anyone else catch this? I was a little disappointed that it was mostly just skits from their previous shows.

That being said, 85% of them I had never seen. The best one by far was the Jar Jar skit. That one had my wife and I in tears.

If you hadn't seen them before, how do you know they're from previous shows? In fact, most of the sketches are new and were created after Lucas himself saw the routine about the Emperor getting the call from Vader that the Death Star had been destroyed. Lucas liked it so much that he gave the Robot Chicken guys carte blanche to create more Star Wars bits. I'm a regular viewer of Robot Chicken, and the only other repeat I spotted in the show was the one where President Bush dreams he's a Jedi.

I cracked up at the bit with Lucas and all the rabid fans at the convention.

I loved this show. Some really funny stuff. It was great that they got the actual guy who played Jar-Jar to do the voice.

I even liked the new opening credits....

These guys have the best job around. They get paid to goof around all day. I am so jealous.

Yeah, I watched this too.
I thought it was really funny.

I think the only one I didn't like so much, was the President Bush one.

I really liked them empire faking the choke hold so they wouldn't get sabered by Vader

The ones I know for sure were shown before were:

The Emperor getting a phone call from Vader
The Bush Jedi
Vader/Luke talking in Cloud City (As a boy I built C-3P0)

I don't think I've laughed so hard in a long time.

What kept getting me was things on more than one level of funny. When Jar Jar came back as a ghost to haunt Ani, it was pretty funny, but that Vader had "Star Wars" sheets was also funny.

When they had "Empire on Ice," it was funny that they had a guy dressed up as a probe droid (!) but they were also singing songs to the tune of the John Williams score!! Brilliant!

Best part was when they brought the guy who had had the choke hold done to him like 30 times back later on.

"What are they doing up there?" That running gag of the janitor was funny.

Whole thing was great, I had only seen the Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker one before.
