Acer XD1280D Opinions please (1 Viewer)

After looking at far too many projectors, I THINK I have settled on a fair one.

My Current choice is an Acer XD1280D 2500 Lumen Xga projector.

It will go to 720p, and SEEMS to be 16:9 native.

I like that I can dial down the bulb and get 3000 hours. Our room is not dedicated so we need the light. We have a Acer 120D that is standing in now until we order the new one, and we like it... so I am looking real hard at its bigger brother.

Please... Good, Bad or Ugly....

If you intend to use it for home theater, I'd pass on that one. That is a native 4:3 business/classroom projector. It's not designed for home theater.
