Running XP and IE7. I open 'System Information', 'Cache', and then finally 'List of Objects'. There are several items that are installed but I no longer need. For example something from Crucial memory that was supposed to ID my memory. Other stuff from programs that no longer exist. How do I get rid of them?

Select the item and then select 'delete this item' under folder tasks or just press delete.

You need to take this route from IE7: tools>internet options>browsing history settings (general tab)>view objects. Then you'll have the options I mentioned.
