Do any BR or HD-DVDs have a "THX Optimizer" or the like?

Cool.

Thanks guys.

So I am assuming that the video tests are all updated HD, not SD correct?

I'll amend my Total Recall affirmation. The disc has a audio and video calibration section (16:9), but it's not THX.

Each Sony BD has calibration patterns if you enter "7669" in the menu of those discs. These have been confirmed by some professional calibrators at AVS to be accurate. I don't know if the THX are accurate or not (they don't tend to be on SD DVDs).
