There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Thanks as always Mike & Patrick.

I was curious as to what the packaging is like for the Studio Classics Collection, so I popped over to Amazon.com to check it out. The only picture available is this one (but I'm not sure that it's representative of the Collection packaging):
http://www.amazon.co....F8&n=130&s=dvd
(For some reason, I can't get the above to display as an image - only as a link Posted Image ).

Anyway, while I was checking it out at Amazon.com, I came across this deal:

Download Bonus! Get a FREE TV show download when you buy any DVD directly from Amazon.com. Must redeem within 24 hours of DVD purchase.

I didn't see this listed in The Specials of the Weekly RoundUp, so here's the details:

This month, if you purchase any DVD directly from Amazon.com you will receive a $1.99 instant rebate on a purchase or rental through Amazon Unbox, our video download store. You need to redeem this rebate within 24 hours of purchasing your DVD. Because most of our TV downloads are available for purchase for just $1.99, you'll be able to purchase a TV show FREE. If you prefer, purchase or rent a higher priced video download and receive a $1.99 discount. Just purchase any video download and we will automatically deduct $1.99 from the price. For more details on how to take advantage of this offer, see below. To begin shopping for your TV show, go to the Amazon Unbox video download store.

Here's the link to page at Amazon.com with the full details:
http://www.amazon.co....cId=1000035121

Maybe this deal has been discussed here before and I just missed it.

I'll probably pick-up Stranger Than Fiction this week, and that should be about it for me - unless my wife has me pick-up A Good Year for her (Russell Crowe to my wife is like Scarlett Johansson to Mike Frezon Posted Image ).

I waited a long time for Secret Agent to come out in a budget big box....
The original A&E release box set was more like $180, and it only had 13 discs comprising the 47 episodes that aired in the US. DVD Planet and DeepDiscountDVD are offering the new set for $89. I wonder if Costco is going to stock this box......

I'll be picking up:

Alexander
Nine Inch Nails: Beside You In Time*
Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny

*I don't know if there's regional pricing but in Philadelphia the ad lists the NIN DVD as $11.99 and the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD as $16.99 (it also says that the HD-DVD is only available online though).

Thanks for the prices! Posted Image

A quick correction on the Circuit City Simpsons season offer: Season 9 is the Lisa head and this is what's pictured in the ad. The Maggie head is Season 8 (and is probably not on sale).

I've picked up most of these. From the looks of it, Amazon is just bundling them together in order to reduce stock.

whats to say? If you've ever seen this band live you will understand why its probably the best release this week. Survived the show 5 times on the 05-06 tour (in both large and tiny venues).

Just Thomas Magnum and Jim Rockford for me this week. Nothing else interests me at the moment.

Regarding that Scarlett Johansson pic, that is a rather odd place to put an earring, wouldn't you say? Can't say I've ever seen one put there before. Must be trying to start a trend. Posted Image

Don't really know if this offer extends past tonight's Oscar night, but Best Buy was selling those $9.99 2-disc/3-disc special edition titles as Buy 1, Get 1 Free, so I picked up 12 titles for $60 plus tax. Some Best Buys are having Reward Zone events and are staying open an few extra hours (if you're in the MST and PST time zones). I don't know if the B1G1F offer will be in effect tomorrow, though.

Is this a local thing?? I picked up the "Heat" Special Edition on Sunday and didn't see or hear about the 'get one free' special deals.
