Can a HD-DVD Combo disk be played on Blu-Ray?

Would a Blu-Ray player be able to play the SD-DVD version that's on a HD-DVD?

I'm specifically thinking about:

Yes it will, since it has to conform to the DVD spec and play in all available DVD players, which a blu-ray player is also.
