I'm really disappointed by the delays for Hannibal and Silence of the Lambs, especially since the latter just got a really nice SE on SD-DVD.

Hopefully, they'll reschedule them with a lower MSRP. Furthermore, Dances with Wolves needs to have both versions on a 50GB BRD. Crawdaddy

Received 3 e-mails this morning informing me that 3 Amazon orders I made have been cancelled. Orders for Commando (Blu-ray)(Fox), Ice Age (Blu-ray)(Fox) and Dodgeball (Blu-ray)(Fox).

Usually when an order is delayed, Amazon will change the release date and keep my order in the system. It is very unusual for them to "CANCEL" any orders.Posted Image

This also goes against what the "Digital Bits" wrote yesterday:

One hardly believes this.

After the disappointment of The Fifth Element, I had not bought another Blu-ray release (helped by the fact that all titles I *really* wanted were on HD DVD as well), but I just started all over by ordering Commando.

Cancelled!? Posted Image

Very disappointing, let's just hope Fox will bring out some of those announced titles later indeed! (And at a more proper price as well.)
