I tried to find a Crossing Jordan thread but I couldn’t so I decided to start this one.

I was over at Crossing Jordan's IMDB forum and I just wanted to pass on that apparently music rights are holding up the show and that the producers are hoping to get it out on DVD sometime this year.

I'm not sure how reliable this info is but I just thought I'd pass it along.

I wondered why this show was never released for so many years.
No one even asks about it either (As I type this I'm watching tonight's new episode) as far as I know.

Music rights is always the answer it seems.

I'm surprised as I wasn't expecting official news so quick, But here it is. Crossing Jordan is probably coming sometime in May. I'm excited. I have never seen this this show before and I can't wait to check it out.

Here's the official news from TVSHOWSONDVD

To me, it's in the same category as Buffy - I genuinely like everyone on the show except the title character. Seeing Miguel Ferrer all gruff with a low growling voice is cool, and Bug, Lilly, Nigel, and eventually Woody are great fun. They're all wonderful characters, but Jordan herself...well I understand why they could never get rid of her, being the lead and having the show named for her and all but if they did, all the better.

I wanted to bump this up again.

Is anything happening with Crossing Jordan? Is it still tied up with music rights?

Any word on the success of season 1 and any rumours of a season 2 release?

Well, apparently no one gives a Hennessy about this show.

Couldn't agree more.
The show has an Amazon ranking of 3851.
I think that means it's not selling all that great.
And with the lack of posts here it kind of tells the story. I liked the show well enough and am glad it's first season is out, but this may be all we get.

That's based on recent sales though, isn't it -- it probably sold better around time of release.
