Uh, maybe they want to release the couple of hundred shows they own that were more successful first? Just a thought.

They even take their sweet time doing that. I don't know--if they couldn't make a success out of the Laverne & Shirtley dvds, then there's no hope for them.

Not to hijack the thread, but what was the name of the theme song for Angie?

um ... maybe some people should relax with the sarcasm. It's getting kind of bad these days.

The theme song to "Angie" is "Different Worlds" by Maureen McGovern. Great tune!

Let the tide flow! Let the love grow! Let the rain shower; let the roses flower!

This show actually rated highly in its 1st season (starting in early 1979), but then in its second it just collapsed. I don't know what happened, but I'd certainly like to see more of the show to find out; TV Land reran a few episodes some years back.
Enough is enough, Disney. No more evasions or excuses. We DEMAND the release Song of the South on Blu-ray along with the uncut version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks on Blu-ray. I am going to boycott The Walt Disney Company until then.

Not a favorite of mine but I believe they had them get married and they did away with the conflicts between the two immediate families which took away whatever it was that made the show tick.
