How weird! Just this afternoon, I was looking over the DVD shelf and wondering if / when someone would attempt to continue emulating that cover style. I have all the other Bond titles in this custom cover series; I like the covers so much, I just stuck the new 2-disc UE 's in double cases and kept these custom SE covers.

Let us know when and where it is available for download, please.

Thanks for your efforts!

That reminds me. I need the Zinema design for Die Another Day. Where can I find it?

And I agree, it's good to see you again in action Matt. I miss the old site.

That cover looks great! I, too preferred those custom SE covers to the new UE ones. Looking forward to the download.

Very nice, Matt. I wish I had the time and energy to finish the covers but I'm glad people like them enough to continue without me. Then again, I've been thinking about re-doing the entire series once the Ultimate Editions inevitably arrive on Blu-Ray. And if there was ever a Bond film to inspire me to finish, it's certainly "Casino Royale."

In any case, keep up the good work!

I'm not sure I have the time or energy either, but I've had a few email requests, and I spent way too much time rebuilding the template for Die Another Day to not use it again, especially since I'll be picking up the DVD for sure =)

BR is another story, as I can't take advantage with my current set - a CRT HDTV with only component input. HD-DVDs look fabulous on it though

You know that Casino Royale is actually a reboot of the 007 franchise, right? It still is the 21st film but esentially a seperate series from the former 20 films. Hence it's the start of an all new one. No, it isn't a prequel as many people think.

And great to see the legendary Charlie de Lauzirika again!

Bumping this as the release date nears. Will someone be able to post a link to the new artwork? I've pre-orderd the SDDVD, but I hate the cover art.

Matt... wow... great to "see" you!!!

I too was wondering if someone was going to do the Zinema-style cover. I have the new UE's... but I kept all the covers from the previous Bond releases. I've been debating about using 'em with the UEs.

Either way, great to see ya!

I still need:
1) high-res source art for the cover
2) legible copy of the "real" cover so I can duplicate certain text

anyone who can help with either is encouraged to email me, as I don't have the resources I used to

progress made. I'm not completely happy with the pic of Craig on the spine, but can't find anything better at the moment. I'm also not happy about the lack of special features, which leaves that box looking rather empty. And I'm undecided if I want to squeeze on the sony/columbia logos, or leave as-is for the sake of uniformity. thoughts?

Matt--

Just to make this more confusing, Target will offer an exclusive 3rd disc in their set, with more making-of stuff, the details of which I don't know yet. However, those extra docs, etc. would probably be enough to fill in the empty portion of the special features box.

I realize that this cover is intended for everyone to use, though. Those who do not purchaes the title at Target but still intend to use this costum cover probably don't want features listed that their 2-disc set doesn't have...

For purely selfish reasons, since I will pick this up at Target for the 3rd disc, I hope that you do make a version that includes these exclusive features.

Thanks again for taking the time to continue this terrific custom cover series!

Looks awesome so far! Please keep us posted about when this will be available. Posted Image

P.S. Turns out the Target ad is incorrect -- there is no free third disc. They're offering a copy of the book Bond on Set when you buy CASINO ROYALE. Oh well...

I've been using the "Zinema" style 007 covers for years now, and would also like to know when you'll make this available. Great job by the way, and the image for the front is perfect.
