Directors Screenshot Challenge! Call the neighbors! Wake the kids! (1 Viewer)

Anyone up for another screenshot challenge? Here’s the poop:

This is my first attempt, so keep that in mind while you’re cussing me out. I’ll try to make it entertaining, interesting, and worthy of your time.

Similar to Elizabeth S’s recent (outstanding) effort, a new shot will fire every other day (God willing) with a clue appearing on the off-days. My clues, however, will be but a single word.

This challenge will run a modest 12 shots; the person with the highest point total after shot number twelve is declared the Winner and King of All Creation (crown not included).

Points: Similar to Elizabeth S’s recent (outstanding) effort, two points are awarded pre-clue and one point post-clue. PM me with your guesses.

In the event of a tie: extra innings!

If you’re as good at these things as I am (that is, not at all), fear not; you can still have some fun. Bonus points will be awarded to any entries that I deem sufficiently amusing. So, if you have no clue whatsoever, send me a funny entry – you may grab yourself a point.

An example of what I might find an entertaining answer: the shot is of rainwater running off of a bridge. You have no idea. You guess “Bridge Over the River Cry”. You get a point, my friend.

Also, be aware that a special one-time award of three points will be available at some point during the contest. The particulars of this bonus must remain a mystery for now; just know that it will happen to a deserving entrant.

The first shot will fire tomorrow morning.

Well, I'm off to a poor start already -- I have no idea on the first one.

One question to Jon_Are: the image appears stretched vertically -- any way that can be fixed?? I don't think it would make a difference with identifying the shot, it's just annoying. Thanks!

Whoa - No clue. Gonna stare at this one for hours and hope that I am suddenly hit with a shot of inspiration. Maybe !

You're right, Jeremy. Not sure how that happened (or how I missed it), but it's fixed now.

I tried Safari and they are right. Jon, you are doing something wrong with your image code. There are all sorts of invalid addresses.
