Why are all these BD and HD DVD players so ugly. It's like they have gone back to the late '70s early '80s style of design. Out of all the HD players released I think the best looking is the XA1 with Sony's BDP-S1 but, they don't look great.

Sleek is sexy, fat is not. The problem is that until they can shrink the internals (and compensate for heating issues) we're stuck with the big hugely boxes.
