Three times in the last 1+ weeks I have ordered the Bonus Material disc of the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid movie from Netflix and received the movie disc instead. Each time, the sleeve had the right title but the disc was wrong.
After the first mistake, I placed another one on top of my queue. After the second mistake, I emailed cust service and they expedited a replacement, which unfortunately became the third mistake. I emailed them yet again and was not quite as polite as with my previous email. This time, they threw an extra disc in the mail, thus going one over my allotment, but apparently they simply sent me what was at the top of my queue, which was not the Butch Cassidy bonus disc.
Are their processes so rigid that they can't actually do a spot check to ensure that I'm getting the proper disc after lodging two specific complaints? It feels like I'm emailing my wall. I'm starting to wonder if this disc even exists.
I'm thinking of cancelling Netflix, or at least suspending service for a few months (I have enough of my own DVDs to get by). Any reasonable mail-oriented rental establishments to which to subscribe?
Thanks.
Doug
