The Disclaimer
Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

"LP" in the RoundUp table means a store’s Sunday flyer says "Low Price". That means I could not locate a definite price for the item, and the ad is all I have to go on. Retailers use these phrases in advertisements so that they do not violate MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) agreements with the studios. Doing so can cost them thousands or even millions of dollars in co-op advertising funds.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in...as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don't get paid for this, and I don't have the time to list every DVD. So, please don't complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

Note that I cannot include Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club prices in the RoundUp. They set prices at individual stores based on nearby competition, so there is no way I can say here what price you'll find at YOUR local Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club location. And, as always, Circuit City does not guarantee their sale prices in Hawaii.

Thanks for the roundup. CC for King Kong EE, Looney Tunes Golden Collection #4 (with a BB pm) & Green Mile SE. I'm also considering Da Vinci Code 2 disc SE for $13.99 which is a great price but it would be a blind buy & word of mouth is about half good & half saying it's just fair.

Thanks Mike. Particularly helpful since Target, CC and BB refused to put a price in their flyer in my Sunday paper for the Da Vinci Code though I think they all did the put the price big on an item next to it trick.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation- Season Six
Forbidden Planet
King Kong (2005)
Looney Tunes: Golden Collection- Volume Four
Masters Of Horror: Haeckel’s Tale

Thanks for the prices! Posted Image

Big week for me. I'll be getting, Duck Tales II, Northern Exposure Season V and Golden Girls VI. I was hoping there would be a sale for the earlier editions of Looney Tunes Golden Collection at one of the brick and mortar stores... No such luck. However, Amazon has Sets I, II & III for $32.47 each. I'll pick up Sets II & III and the new Duck Tales since it's a good six bucks cheaper than at Best Buy or Circuit City.

For those thinking about CSI: Season 6.

I've got seasons 1-5. Because the sets are soooo expensive, I have purchased all my sets either used here at the HTF or in used bins at local retailers. The only thing missing from my sets are a couple of the yellow "caution" tapes outside the boxes. Anyway, I'm thinking about getting Season 6 thru DDD's 20% sale.

Season 6 is currently listed at $55.87 at DDD...lower, already, than all retailers listed in the RoundUp. 20% off would put it at $44.70. That is better than some of the prices I've paid for these sets used.

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!
