Yes, it has indeed. And even stranger: Terminator 2 has region 1 on the cover (not A): the "old" icon. Perhaps they were still a little bit confused in the beginning.

Thanks for the information, Marek. The Internet is a wonderful medium to publish information such as this to assist consumers in their purchase decision-making. It just shows how incredibly stupid and useless such regional restrictions are in the first place.

So you mean that it's a mistake on the cover? I was unable to play my Terminator BD with my PowerDVD before applying the patch that adds region coding to PowerDVD.

I honestly don't know, Sam. But "region 1" is an error for sure. Of course, it could really still be a region-A-only disc.

No unfortunately I don't have a region B BD player. I'm waiting for a multi-region BD player. For the moment I only buy imported region A BDs.

No, actually I'm worried. We may never see a multi-region BD player because I remember reading a while back (probably from the infamous Amir) that it's illegal to make multi-region BD players contrary to DVD players. It's in the specification or something like that and so the manufacturers cannot add that functionality even hidden in their menus. This is not the case with DVDs.

Why would these be restricted and not open region like HD-DVD?

And are their blu-ray titles available in other regions that are not available here in the usa?
