If there is one film adaptation of a Roald Dahl book that deserves a better R1 DVD release then what it has right now, that film is the 1990 movie "The Witches. I would like on the SE DVD the following: Anamorphic W-I-D-E-S-C-R-E-E-N transfer, DD 5.1 and 2.0, Director's Commentery, some feauturettes, Trailers and TV Spots, this is one film that needs a special edition DVD!
Hey Disney! Bring Bonkers to DVD OR ELSE!

I agree 100%, I love this film. I still own the VHS but never upgraded to the DVD, what with it being 4:3 and all. A new anamorphic release I'd snatch up in a heartbeat, though.

The only reason I own the current version is because I bought a brand new, sealed copy from a used record store for TWO DOLLARS.

Otherwise, I never would have paid for it. I'd gladly upgrade to an OAR 16x9 enhanced disc. I'd even pay full retail this time!
