time to end the series? it just seems to drag on&on... i think they get 2caught in the drama of each of the character's lives.

back in the first few seasons, they focused on the patients they worked on. i think people are more interested in why people want to get plastic surgery done than the surgeons&their families themselves. the best story threads circled around the workplace itself... and not the personal lives of the characters. i think they veered off 2much into the self-obsessed and ultraneedy nature of the characters, i think that puts people off.

Well that was goofy. I have no idea why Jane blew her brains out if she didn't abduct the kid; but I have to give it credit for putting an alien Xenu and making fun of him and comparing him to a washed up porn star Posted Image Anytime you go to that length to take a few swipes at Scientology, at least you'll get me to laugh.

I hated the end with Escobar. How they are tying those two storylines together make no sense considering previously we'd seen jane having a phone conversation with a chinese man who I assumed was her "pimp" up the chain.

Last night's episode felt like they were rushing to tie up old loose ends to get the guys ready to make the move to Beverly Hills. Almost like a reboot. Here's hoping next season they dispense with some of the stuff from this season and get back to the type of episodes they had early on.

A reboot of sorts might be good. I'm just glad we won't be seeing anymore of Michelle, who ruined much of this season.

BUT PLEASE -- do not let Rosie O'Donnell accept the supposed offer to become a regular!

According to TV.com, on December 19, FX will air "Cutting Deeper: A Look Back On Season 4".

It will be a re-cap of the entire fourth season. Cast interviews, question and answers will be asked by a studio audience. This is said to be shot live out side Stage 32 in Hollywood, Californa. Updates will be posted on niptuck.com

did ryan murphy leave after s2? i heard a rumour about that from my co-workers or is that all BS? s3 just sucked and so did s4. just finished finale. sounds like murphy doesn't have a contract and feels like pursuing diff. things. ah well. if they stop now it'd be great =).

nope, he's still around & it's going for at least one other season. it should probably stop soon, though.

I finally got around to watching the episode (the holidays just got the best of my TV viewing these past 2 weeks). I thought the episode would never end (tying up the subplots with Michelle and Escobar), but then they flipped it all around with the sing-along and showed us the new direction the show was taking location-wise, and since both surgeons are now unattached (though Troy has Wilbur), on the loose in Beverly Hills, I hope the show gets the creative boost it needs after a so-so 4th season.

Does anyone know where they got the skin to make new breasts for Escobar's wife?
