I finally made up my mind after watching Star Wars Revenge of the Sith in Sony KDS 50A2000 at the Sony store. The manager showed me three types of HDTV, Bravia 46", LCD XBR1 40" and the new 50" SXRD 1080p. The Flat Panel LCD cant match the video quality of the SXRD. Plus with the other two you can see the pixels in close distance but the SXRD second gen in close distance 1" away from the display YOU CAN NOT SEE THE PIXELS. Ive read an article about this 2nd Gen SXRD that it uses the SAME TECHNOLOGY with the SXRD XBR1 plus it has 1080p and its cheaper. What do you think guys did I made a right choice. The SXRD XBR2 is not available in 50" only 60"and 70". I only have a viewing distance of 9' max and accdg to the sales rep 60 is to big for my room. This is my first HDTV and I hope I made a right choice. This forum has helpme a lot in choosing the RIGHT HDTV. Thanks Guys!
